Haircut & Color update

I know that I am posting later then usual, but me and my daughter Jill spent most of the afternoon fixing her hair at Salon De Christé. It looks really good, remember the pictures that I posted in my other blog .Struggling Parents"? CLICK here the link will open in a new window. I would of place of before pictures into this post but I deleted them on the computer..oOps ...

I will take pictures of the wedding dress and me and the other girls dresses soon to show it off, stay tuned.

My youngest daughters Alex and Michelle will be arriving on the plane, we leave to pick them up at around 10pm Missouri time. I am really excited to see them, I have never been away this long from them ever. I know they are grown young ladies and have lives of their own, but I always keep in touch and see them at least a couple times a week. I will keep you updated on the wedding, that is why all of my daughters are here in Missouri in which Jill (my oldest) lives now.

Experienced Hairdresser?

Now tell me something…you would think that getting your haircut and colored with highlights would be simple for a professional "Senior" hairdresser, that was her title. My oldest daughter Jill had her hair done a couple days ago, but it didn’t look like there were any highlights added far away, so she went back to them and had the same lady redo it by adding more highlights.

The name of the place is; (NEVER GO THERE)
Salon Visions
854 Bryan Rd.
O'Fallon, MO. 63366
(636) 978-3150
This place should get bad reviews from everyone...

Well yesterday she went back and these pictures are the result to her fixing it. She absolutely ruined it by placing bleach into it and burnt the ends of her hair, turning her hair some many different colors such as orange, white, gray, and others colors probably not even heard of. Check out the the before pictures and then compare them to the after pictures.

The lady knew she has getting it done for her wedding day and yet completely ruined her hair. I truly think is ruined her hair deliberately because she had to do it over.

What is she going to do now?
Thinking, thinking,thinking, thinking...thinking again..Felix the cat
She doesn’t even know at this point and she gets married the 3rd of Oct. does anyone have any ideas?
I think she got her license through kindergarten…

More 49er Game Pictures

So the story goes like this,
my youngest daughters Alex, Michelle, Alex's boyfriend Zillman (wearing the Sea Hawk T when he is actually a Dallas fan and he almost got beat up..lol), my x-husband Curtis, his sister Sara, her daughter Andrea, and her daughters husband went to the 49ers game on Sunday 09/20/09.

They played the Seattle Sea Hawks and cremated them 10-20 something, check out my blog post from YesTerDay. I posted more pictures of that day taken by my daughters.

Yeah 49ers !!!

My two youngest daughters Alex and Michelle went to the 49ers game Sunday 09/20/09. The 49ers played the Sea Hawks, and beat them 23-10, what a great win for the 49ers. Our family have been a 49ers fan for quite some time. Below is a picture of them taken with Alex's cell phone during the game, their quite the team themselves. I posted a review below the picture, of the game.

A career game from Frank Gore aided the 49ers in defeating the Seattle Sea Hawks 23-10 Sunday afternoon in front of 69,732 fans at Candlestick Park.

The 49ers talented running back totaled a career-best 246 combined rushing and receiving yards, thanks to 79- and 80-yard touchdown runs.

And while Gore’s work was certainly impressive, it was the performance of the rest of the 49ers offense that caught Mike Singletary’s attention.

“We left too much on the table,” the 49ers head coach said after the game. “We have to do a better job on third-and-long. We have to do a better job of overall cleaning it up, so that we can compete with anyone.”

But Singletary didn’t want his postgame comments to take away from his team’s accomplishment.

“I don’t want to come in here and make it sound like we should have beaten them by more. I don’t want to do that,” he said. “I am thankful that we won the game. I just think that we have to do a better job of finishing.”

After struggling on the ground in the season opener in Arizona, the 49ers racked up 256 yards against their second consecutive NFC West opponent. The success in the running game also resulted in a nearly 10 minute gap in the teams’ time of possession.

However, the 49ers only totaled 16 first downs, three less than Seattle. But with Gore cashing in with his two long scores, that didn’t really matter.

My oldest daughter's project

My oldest daughter put a pond in her backyard that we, her family and I have been working on since I’ve been here in the State of Missouri in which she lives in.

My grandson Mikey dug the hole, because it started out that he had so much energy that Jill (my daughter) told him to dig a hole. So he dug the hole and that’s when Jill decided to start her pond. She was only was going to spend $300, but it ended up costing quite a bit more. She bought the plastic liner, and paid, which was around $100, then the rock which was 13 cents a pound, she bought over 2 thousand pounds, add that up to $263. Oh, and we wont forget about the sand, the sand started off with 4 bags and then we went back and purchased 10 more bags ($2.30 something a bag) for the first 4 bags at Home Depot, and the other 10 bags costing $1.87 a bag at Lowe's, costing around $20 total for just the sand. Crazy thinking someone would purchase sand and rock…lol.

The bags of sand created a problem because since the bags weighed 37 pounds each and we had them in the trunk of the car, it lowered the back of the car quite a bit. We were driving up her gravel driveway and the back of the car was rubbing a lot. We had Mikey get out of the car to decrease the weight, which wasn’t much and pulled right into the backyard to place the sand bags.

Then we (Jill and I) place the plastic liner of the pond in the hole. Then we dropped sand into the sides as a fill in, and then we placed the large rocks around the pond.

We filled the pond with water, it looked really good the way we placed the rocks. Then we added the pump and 2 small fish (koi fish). At the end of the evening, my grandson mentioned the pond was losing a lot of water; it was below half the level of what it was originally. We discovered that the pump was draining water outside the pond, leaking under the liner of the pond, which made the plastic liner of the pond rise up, which was pushing the water that was inside the pond outside the edging of the pond and lifting the middle of the plastic liner up. The liner was bent upward and the fish were swimming in one foot of water.

Now we have to drain the pond completely, move the rocks, pull the liner out and dig the hole deeper, and pretty much start all over. I would place photos in this post but I left my camera USB connector at home.

The pond is costing not quite $1,000 because we now have to start over, it may cost even more.

My brothers pond on the other hand is actually the size of a swimming pool, and ended up costing him over 5 grand. You can view this pond on his website at Ke5rs.com (John and Dena’s website address).

I will try to place photographs of Jill’s pond when is complete, and hopefully it will be completed before I leave home back to California.

Link exchanging gone bad

Every once in awhile I check the links from other blogs that I have on my page and visit the blogs that are exchanging links with my blogs to see if my blog links are still on their blog, and today I have found out that several bloggers that had my links on their blog have removed them, even know I still have their blog link on my blog.

I am now removing a lot of exchanging links due to the unfairness of them removing my blog links off their blogs...It seems that every so often I will ask them again to place my link on their blog, seeing that I have their blog link on my blog.

I am going through my exchanging links to remove all those that don't have my links on their blog...if you read this and are one of those that removed my links, email me and I will be gladly to place your link back on my blog after you place mine back on your blog...

This sounds confusing to me and so it probably sounds confusing to all of you, I'm just frustrated about all these link exchanges.
Have a wonderful day !!!
